Estimator

Spring into a new opportunity at LPI/Pulver Packaging LLC as an Estimator. Due to growth we are adding to our Talent! This position will be at our 575 Bennett Road, Elk Grove Village, IL facility. This candidate will also collaborate with our Team in New Berlin, WI. Here’s a little snapshot of our specialties at our Pulver position where this person would reside:

Our capabilities include 6 color offset printing, Aqueous Coating, Soft Touch Coating, Hi Gloss UV Coating, Die Cutting, Embossing, Foil Stamping, Window Patching, Folding and Gluing of paperboard folding cartons. PULVER PACKAGING has been manufacturing paperboard folding cartons and paperboard packaging since 1958. We combine fast turn around times, with high quality, at a competitive price. With in house structural design and packaging design, we provide our services to companies all over the world.

– 5 years of print and packaging/folding carton experience.

-Review RFQs (Request for Quote) issued by customer or sales representative received by email, hardcopy or previously produced project for accuracy, cost savings initiatives, and other factors.

-Prepare estimates for the customer in an accurate and timely manner.

-Generate quote letter for customer that contains product specifications, materials, and pricing.

-Review and evaluate cost estimates and prepare cost analysis.

– Communicate with team members regarding new and current projects.

-Manage bid pricing from all vendors.

– Establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, vendors and subcontractors.

-Has excellent communication skills, both oral and written, goal-oriented, self-motivated, solution focused.

-Having previous ERP system experience is a plus.

– Must possess excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.

Experience:

• Estimating in the Print, Finishing & Packaging field: 5 years (Preferred)
