Folder Gluer Operator

We are looking to hire experienced Machine Operators to run a variety of print finishing equipment. A great candidate will have experience operating print/print finishing machinery while maintaining a high-quality standard. Candidates with experience in die cutting, foil stamping, or folding and gluing are encouraged to apply.

MCD is a fast-paced and growing company that has been in business for over 50 years and currently employs 66 production and office personnel.

Role Description

Machine Operators are responsible for operating a variety of print finishing equipment, completing job tickets, maintaining equipment by cleaning and adjusting as needed, performing quality checks, etc.

Shift

• We are hiring for 2nd shift, Monday – Friday (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm)
• Candidates with weekend availability are preferred

Shift Differential

• Pay is dependent on experience in the print industry
• $0.75/hour for 2nd shift positions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the print or finishing industry
• Good mechanical aptitude
• An eye for detail and quality
• Good oral and written communication and familiarity with reading job tickets

Physical Demands

Periodic twisting, lifting, bending, and able to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodations.

Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience operating the following machinery: Bobst, Kluge, Polar Cutter, Thompson, Iijima, Jagenburg, Steinemann, and Sakurai.
