Julie is an internationally known speaker, educator and author, and many GLGA members will remember her from her tenure as the Vice President of Digital Strategies for Printing Industries of America. We are looking forward to hearing her strategic insights. The program includes lunch.

About the Presenter

Julie Shaffer is dedicated to helping businesses in the graphic communication industry thrive. After honing her experience with several print and pre-media companies, she began a career serving with industry associations, joining Printing Industries of America in the year 2000. With a keen interest in technology and education, she’s melded the two in her work, running the prepress and digital printing operation at PIA’s inplant facility, developing and delivering training programs on an always-evolving range of topics, building and running conferences, writing dozens of articles, several books and presenting hundreds of seminars across the country on a wide range of topics. Today, Julie is Associate Vice President Programs & Community Development at the Association for Print Technologies, continuing her work for the good of the industry, including building educational programs for the annual PRINT event held each year in Chicago.
