Identifying Applicable Requirements Under a ROPC

Printers can get many benefits from the Type C Registration Permit (ROPC). Benefits include flexibility to construct, less frequent monitoring and recordkeeping requirements, and lower administrative costs. But there is a downside to a ROPC. The permit does not list all the federal and state air pollution requirements that apply to a facility. In this presentation, you’ll learn how to identify applicable requirements that are not outlined in the ROPC. Join SCS Engineers’ Mark Hammers to get a better understanding of how to identify which requirements apply to your facility.

About the Presenter:

Mark Hammers is a staff engineer with SCS Engineers. Mark recently transitioned to SCS Engineers from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, where he spent five years as an Air Management Engineer writing operation and construction permits, conducting inspections, and helping facilities demonstrate compliance with air regulations. Mark’s background also includes water quality permitting; environmental recordkeeping, reporting, and monitoring programs; and hazardous waste management.
