With business and employee cash concerns because of COVID-19, fraud is a bigger concern now than ever. Recently, Wells Fargo fired up to 125 employees for allegedly misrepresenting themselves to obtain stimulus money intended to help businesses hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic. And hundreds of thousands of dollars have been fraudulently taken in two separate schemes that targeted California Employment Development Department (EDD) unemployment insurance benefits.

Join Bronswick Benjamin as they provide best practices on a host of areas to ensure you avoid issues regarding fraud:

  • Recent Unemployment Fraud committed during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
  • Basic Office Fraud including segregation of duties between approval of bills and payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation and the idea of controls over all cash and deposits.
