This session will provide requirements for waste counting and determining generator category including the episodic generation provision, LQG consolidation of VSQG wastes and other generator improvement rule changes.
This is the third webinar in a series of six to assist Wisconsin Printers with understanding the Wisconsin Hazardous Waste regulations.
About the Presenters:
Mike Ellenbecker began his career with the Department of Natural Resources in 1990 as a hazardous waste inspector. As an inspector, Mike has visited over 1,600 facilities, which has resulted in the discovery of over 2,400 violations. In 2010, Mike became the Department’s hazardous waste plan review specialist. As a plan review specialist, Mike was responsible for reviewing plan modifications and relicensing applications for Wisconsin’s 12 TSD facilities. In 2013, Mike became the Department’s hazardous waste program coordinator. As the hazardous waste program coordinator, Mike provides technical expertise to the Department’s hazardous waste field staff, oversees the hazardous waste core team, provides training, and is responsible for developing guidance and policy on hazardous waste issues.
Gary Jones is the Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety Affairs for PRINTING United Alliance. PRINTING United Alliance is the largest member-based printing and graphics arts association in the United States that provides resources, programs, education, and research to help printing companies grow their businesses. Gary has over 30 years of experience in helping members understand their compliance requirements and works with regulatory agencies on behalf of the printing industry.
