Adriane Harrison is an experienced human resources professional with an extensive background in business, law, and non-profit management. She practiced fifteen years as an attorney specializing in commercial litigation and securities law. Adriane currently heads the human relations department for the Printing Industries of America, the national trade association for the print industry. Her office is at PIA Headquarters in Warrendale, PA. Adriane holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a law degree from DePaul University in Chicago.

Women [in] Print Networking Event

GLGA’s quarterly Women [in] Print Networking Event is an opportunity for women working in Print to come together, develop empowerment, and celebrate the achievements of women in the printing industry.

This quarter, our host is Suttle-Straus in south-central Wisconsin. Join us to meet and network with other women in our industry. Our special guest speaker is Sally O’Brien, the president of The Badger Group. Sally will share her professional journey over her 30+ years in printing. Lunch is included.

Women at all stages of their careers and from all corners of the printing plant are welcome!

Lunch with the Printers

It’s Lunch Time!

On the third Tuesday of the month, join your fellow members of the Indiana printing industry for Lunch with the Printers.

Lunch with the Printers is an informal gathering of printers and suppliers who meet for lunch and conversation. There is no program and no fee (other than your lunch); it is just an opportunity to network with your peers. Lunch is off the menu and à la carte. GLGA members and not-yet members are welcome.

We will be meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at Kona Jack’s in Indianapolis. Arrive around noon, grab a bite to eat and depart on your own schedule.

You don’t need to RSVP to attend; however, if you know you are coming please let Brent Eckhart at beckhart@glga.info know so we can make sure we have plenty of space for the group.

First, at 4:30 p.m. we will have a special educational session with Doug Wyman, president of Sales Directors. This Chicago icon sales trainer will speak on his journey in print sales in Illinois. He will share with you how sales in our industry has changed dramatically, and yet what has never changed. Networking immediately follows the presentation.Then at 6:00 p.m., we begin the bowling and bocce, with a cash bar and that delicious pizza and flatbread buffet.Let’s get together, re-connect with industry friends and have a lot of fun. About Our Speaker:
Doug Wyman is the president of Sales Directors, a sales and marketing consulting firm exclusive to the printing, digital, and graphic arts industry. He is nationally recognized as one of the industry’s top sales trainers and seminar leaders, and has written four popular books on printing and imaging sales. Before forming Sales Directors, Doug was a sales manager for Harrison Lithography in Chicago, where he trained, developed and managed a 12-person sales force.
