Experienced, full-time, second-shift working machine bindery supervisor. This position will require you to work on a wide range of jobs and machines while also managing the people and department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret and follow direction from a job ticket
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Ability to work well with co-workers in a team environment
Check quality of finished product coming off production line
Operate saddle binder, folders, cutters, folder gluer, and other bindery equipment
Supervise and train less experienced operators (including set up help)
Flexibility to work in other departments and on other tasks when needed
Requirements:
Past experience in working within a busy team environment, good interpersonal skills and demonstrated behavior of satisfying client needs
Print/Bindery Machine experience required (main focus is saddle binding)
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands
High School diploma or equivalent
Effective communication skills
Detail orientated
Can work by self-direction
Time Management
Be able to do repetitive work
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to learn new equipment
Ability to stand for 8+ hours
Must possess a quality focused and customer first work ethic
Second shift position, four 10-hour days, 2:30pm – 12:30am, Monday through Thursday.
Wage commensurate with experience
