Woodward Printing Services (WPS) is looking for a General Manager, located in Platteville, Wisconsin.  WPS provides a wide variety of services from pre-press & press to bindery, mailing & delivery, and guarantees customer satisfaction.

The General Manager is a key leadership role who will:

Lead sales, customer service, and administrative teams to reach revenue, quality and accuracy goals;

Champion the organization’s efforts to achieve company objectives, strategic plans and customer satisfaction;

Drive strategies that result in efficiencies, cost savings and optimal performance;

Direct print, packaging, and production management teams to achieve the annual operating plan; and

Ensure a culture of safety, ownership, innovation, teamwork and open-book management.

To be successful in this leadership role, the General Manager will possess a high level of people, problem solving and analytical skills, the ability to think strategically, a drive to consistently increase sales revenue, and a keen focus on employee owner development and customer satisfaction.  Above average ability to communicate at all levels and knowledge of leadership, participatory management, sales management, and team dynamics are essential.

The qualified candidate will have a college degree or equivalent plus ten years of combined experience in leadership roles in print/packaging, sales, budgeting, forecasting, safe work practices, team building, and maintaining a positive work-environment.
