Who is Inland:
Inland Packaging is a local label and packaging manufacturer seeking a Full Time Cutter Operator to join our growing team. Here at Inland, we print labels for brands like Kraft Heinz, New Glarus Brewing, Clorox, Leinenkugel’s, and Coors Light. Location: 627 Breezy Point Road La Crosse, WI 54601
Starting Wage: $20.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
Shift: Rotating days: 6:00pm – 6:00am
Work Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Shifts including every other weekend:
- Week One: Three Days – 36 Hours
- Week Two: Four Day – 48 Hours
Typical Day in the Role:
The Cutter Operator is responsible for tasks that include:
- Setting up and running a machine that cuts labels, based on customer specifications
- Managing quality of finished product through the complete production process
- Cross-training in other roles across the production environment
- Completing quality assurance checks and raising concerns where needed
- Problem solving issues that arise
- Effectively working as a team member to meet production and company goals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree required
- 1 or more years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Highly motivated with a positive attitude
- Willingness to utilize and learn new technology
