The Hub-Remsen Print Group in Rochelle IL is seeking a Pre – Press Technician to join their team. The right candidate will have experience and a strong understanding of Adobe design applications, color management, layout and design.
Responsibilities and Duties
This position is responsible for preparing incoming files for output to both digital and offset presses and some design work. They will be working directly with customers and strong communication skills are a most.
Qualifications and Skills
• Mac & PC Windows environment
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including: InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Knowledge of other graphic oriented software packages for customer conversions
• A professional phone presence
• A professional email presence
• Troubleshooting skills
• The ability to multitask
• The ability to complete assignments within a given time-frame
• The ability to work well within a team
• TruFlow and Equios knowledge a plus
• Design knowledge a plus
