Our Printing team is responsible for producing millions of creative means to inspire learning and literacy. Our team is currently seeking a Printing Supervisor, who will lead the team of talented, creative printing professionals.
As our Printing Supervisor, you will:
- Be the key figure in overseeing the printing operations within the manufacturing department, encompassing all stages of the printing process from pre-press to press and some aspects of post-press production
- Actively managing and optimizing the printing process to ensure that all team members are able to deliver high-quality and efficient production
- In collaboration with the Production Supervisor, you will contribute to developing comprehensive training plans and provides crucial development support for the entire manufacturing process
- Ensure resources are effectively utilized to meet the department’s production goal
To be qualified for this role, you will have:
- An in-depth understanding of printing technology and various printing processes
- An Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience in a print production environment
- At least three years in previous leadership role
- Strong knowledge of printing processes, equipment, and software
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Proficiency with print management and software
- The ability to deliver clear and concise communication, verbally and written
This position will report to our Value Center in DeForest, Wisconsin. The role will be onsite and will work Monday through Friday, first shift hours. This role does require frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion.
