Delzer is a fast-paced, mid-sized printing company in Waukesha, WI. If you’re interested in working on the industry’s most state-of-the-art equipment, look no further! We are seeking to add an experienced Wide-Format Digital Print Operator to help run our state-of-the-art flatbed printing presses.

 

Summary: As a Wide Format Digital Press Operator you will be responsible for setting up and operating our Fujifilm Acuity Prime 30 flatbed and Acuity 1600R roll to roll printing presses as well as our Kongsberg C24 Edge Cutting Table according to written and/or verbal instructions, established company procedures, safety, and quality guidelines.

 

Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, or similar. Training may occur at other times. This is an on-site position requiring the employee to be present physically.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Efficiently operate wide format digital presses such as Fujifilm Acuity Prime 30 Flatbed, 1600R

roll-fed, and Kongsberg Cutting Table.

• Adjust press or file to optimize speed, color, or registration.

• Accurately interpret, document, and communicate diagnostic feedback from equipment and act

upon information to resolve production, maintenance and repair issues.

• Pull materials and setup printers as appropriate to produce jobs meeting job ticket requirements.

• Move finished materials to appropriate locations and document inventory changes.

• Perform first off quality checks to proofs and job ticket requirements along with routine QC checks

throughout production runs.

• Perform color matching of supplied material.

• Read and comprehend job tickets • Report workplace hazards to management immediately

• Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required

• Report all work related injuries, illnesses, and/or near misses to management immediately

• Keep all work area/station in compliance with our housekeeping guidelines

• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations

• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards, such as keeping floors swept and absent of

debris that may be a work hazard

• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s)

• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment

• Attend all department/company meetings

• Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications • Experience operating any of the wide format digital  presses including Fuji, is a major plus and you are strongly encouraged to apply. • Experience with Kongsberg cutting table or router cutting is a plus. • High school diploma or GED equivalent or 3+ years of related experience.
