For this edition, we will be taking an in-depth look at the Fair Labor Standards Act new overtime rules which take effect on December 1.  Now is the time to make the final decisions about who is exempt, who is non-exempt and will continue to earn overtime, and the strategy needed to implement these new rules.  The webinar will give go over the applicable aspects of the rules, give examples, and suggest strategies.  After the FLSA discussion, Adriane will go over any new information that affects companies in our region.

About the Speaker:

adriane-harrison Adriane Harrison is an experienced human resources professional with an extensive background in business, law, and non-profit sectors. She practiced 15 years as an attorney specializing in commercial litigation and securities law.  Adriane currently heads the human relations department for the Printing Industries of America, the national trade association for the print industry.  Her office is at PIA Headquarters in Warrendale, PA.  Adriane holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a law degree from DePaul University in Chicago.
