Please join us for the 2016 Indiana Annual Meeting to be held on Thursday, November 17, at Harry & Izzy’s Northside in Indianapolis. Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 5:30 p.m. with a presentation at 6:15 p.m.

This year’s speaker is coming to us from Indianapolis’ own Indiana Pacers. Derek Throneburg, Vice President Brand & Marketing Strategy, will talk about the Pacers’ integration of print and social media as well as take an overall look at how professional sports organizations use print in their efforts to connect with current season ticket holders, prospects and the community at large. His talk will include a Q&A session. Derek is a sports marketing executive with 14+ years of experience in generating revenue via business development, including account services, sales team management, strategic development and budget management. He also has experience in strategic planning and execution of special events including Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game, the MLB Fanfest, MLB Postseason and concerts at Busch Stadium.
